Lee Henry Wright, 60

DOVER - Lee Henry Wright, of Dover, passed away Monday, March 23, 2009, in the VA Medical Center, Elsmere. He was 60. Lee was born on Feb. 16, 1949, in New Bern, N.C., son of the late Lester and Margaret (Green) Wright. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Lester Wright. He is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Wright of Rincon, Ga.; four step-daughters, Anita Miller, Tywanda Cohen, Pauline Smith and Thelma Reese all of Dover; six sisters, Mary Jane Jones, Viola Fisher, Louise Brinkley, Willie Scott all of Dover, Rachel Windley of New Bern, N.C., and Julieanna Wright of McQueen, N.Y.; three brothers, Norman (Pop) Wright, Clayton Wright and Roy Wright all of Dover; three grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and special friends, Betty Cohen, Rigs Perez, Henson Brooks Jr. and Clara Hill. Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Home of the Brave, 6632 Sharps Road, Milford, DE 19963. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
