DOVER - Lawrence S. Woznicki, Sr., "Larry," went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019. Larry passed away peacefully at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.
He was born on Sept. 27, 1930 in Wilmington, the son of the late William and Rose (Kowlski) Woznicki.
Larry was a veteran of the Korean War, proudly serving his country in the United States Army.
He retired from the Christiana Hospital after many years of service.
His whole life was devoted to taking care of his family, raising his five children, and selflessly providing for their needs. A true family man, Larry enjoyed his personal pastimes of hunting, fishing, and camping, and sharing those passions with everyone. Larry always put his family first.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John Woznicki.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; three sons, Larry and his wife Yvette, Richard and his wife Diane, and Eddie; and his daughter, Dot and her husband Don Cochran.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear.
