Lawrence E. Hunt

WINDSOR MILL, Md. - Lawrence E. Hunt on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, departed this life at his home in Windsor Mill, Md. Lawrence Hunt was the Pastor of Trinity AME Church in Ridgely, Md., at the time of his death. He is survived by his five children, Jacqueline Hunt, Douglas Hunt, Scott Hunt, Alison Hunt DeCoteau and Brandon Hunt; and six grandchildren. Rev. Hunt is also survived by a brother, Edward O. Hunt, MD, and numerous cousin, nieces and nephews. Larry was a 1954 graduate of Dunbar High School and a 1958 graduate of Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. Larry worked for the State of MD Department of Human Resources Training and Employment Office. In 1993 Larry joined the staff of the Community Action Council of Howard County and retired in 2009. A Wake will be held in his honor Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 1300 Druid Hill Ave., Baltimore. Rev. Lawrence Hunt's funeral service will be held Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, at Trinity A.M.E. Church, 12100 School St., Ridgely, at 1 p.m. The family requests, in lieu of flowers please send a memorial contribution to: Trinity A.M.E. Church for The Lawrence E.
