Laurence T. O'Neal

MILFORD -Laurence T. O'Neal, 61, of Milford, died March 3, 2011, in Dover. Born in Lewes, he was the son of the late Howard L. and Emily O'Neal. Mr. O'Neal had worked as a carpenter and had also owned and operated an amusement business which served the Delaware State Fair in Harrington along with other Fairs and events throughout the country for over 20 years. He had been a member of the Clam Jam of Milford and had been a former member of the Frederica Fire Co. Mr. O'Neal enjoyed art and was an avid painter. He was a true friend towards others that would always go out of his way to lend a helping hand. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two sisters, Mildred Tribbit and Alice Jenkins. He is survived by his loving sister, with whom he had lived with, Teresa Morris of Milford, and sister, Juanita Roberts of Lincoln; his brother, Howard L. O'Neal, Jr. of Virginia; two grandchildren, Bridgett and Brittany both of Dover. A Memorial Service will be at the convenience of the family. Family suggests donations in his memory to the Delaware Hospice Center of Milford, 911 S. DuPont Hwy. Dover, DE 19901. Condolences and Guest Book Signings may be made via www.ambruso.com.
