Larry E. Crain, 60
LEWES - Larry E. Crain of Lewes passed away Saturday, June 9, 2007, at his residence. He was 60.
Mr. Crain was born Dec. 22, 1946, in Elkton, Md., son of the late Joseph and Diana (Boyce) Crain.
Mr. Crain had been employed as a generator mechanic by the Delaware National Guard.
He was a member of American Legion Post 17, where he previously served on the board of directors for five years.
In addition, he was a member of the Moose Lodge, Lewes, and VFW Post 7444.
He served honorably with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He loved his children and grandchildren, and "The Price is Right" TV game show.
Mr. Crain is survived by three daughters, Laurie Hulbert of Harbeson, Kristina Crain of Millsboro and Treasa McElhenny of Lewes; one son, Dwayne Terry of Lewes; seven grandchildren; his former wife, Darlene Crain; a sister, Shirley Gregson and her husband, Joe of Elkton; and two brothers, William H. Crain and his wife, Oleda of Townsend and Vic Crain and his wife, Mary of Elkton.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday in Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, at 2 p.m.
Reception will be held after the interment at 3 p.m. at the American Legion Post 17, American Legion Drive, Lewes.
