Lance Leroy Musser II, 46
FELTON - Lance Leroy Musser II, of Felton, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at home, with his loving wife and family by his side. He was 46.
He was born in Koppel, Pa., son of Lance L. and Dixie Musser Sr. of Koppel.
Mr. Musser served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force and served during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
He worked in Base Ops, spent more than 10 years in the service and left with the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Mr. Musser worked as a correctional officer for the Department of Correction in Smyrna for the past five years.
He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He enjoyed listening to gospel music, reading his Bible and studying the scripture.
Mr. Musser enjoyed watching religious programs, including "The 700 Club" and John Hagee.
He will be known as a devoted husband, loving father and a compassionate friend to all who knew him.
His down to Earth and oftentimes humble demeanor will always be remembered and cherished by his family and all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Rizalita Musser of Felton; son, Brandon Musser of Felton; daughters, Dayna Musser of West Virginia University, and Destiny Musser of Felton; stepdaughter, Codi Canasa of Orlando, Fla.; brother, William Musser; and sisters, Sheila Musser and Melissa Musser, all of Koppel.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Highway, Harrington, where friends may call two hours prior.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
