L. Mildred Dulin

WORTON, Md. - L. Mildred Dulin passed away on June 22, 2018 in Kent Hospice House, Chestertown, Md.
Mrs. Dulin was born on April 26, 1924 in Easton, Md., daughter of the late Clarence D. and Leona White Chance. She was raised in Easton and was a 1942 graduate of Easton High School. In 1943 she married and moved to Wye Mills. She had worked at the Ribbon Factory in Easton until moving to Kennedyville in 1959 where she worked as a secretary for Bloomfield Farm, Dukes-Moore Insurance Agency and Eddie Mills, retiring in 1986.
Since 1959 she was a member of Kennedyville United Methodist Church. She was also a life member of Kennedyville V.F.C. Auxiliary, Homemakers of Talbot & Kent Counties and was active as a 4-H leader in Talbot and Kent Counties.
Along with her parents and step-mother Lillian Chance; she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Leslie 'Les' Dulin, Sr; son, Leslie Dulin Jr.; a granddaughter, Nancy-Jo E. Williams; and siblings, Dorothy Cheezum, Elsie Warner, Louise Whitiby, Charles, Lester, Earl, Floyd and Vernon Chance.
Mrs. Dulin is survived by her daughter and son-in-law with whom she lived, Joanne and Don Fish; a step-sister, Virginia Bildstein of Riva, Md.; grandson, Jimmy Williams IV (Patty); three great-grandchildren, Jamie F. Williams V. (Krista), Brandi Ewing and Emilee Williams; two great-greatgrandchildren, Cameron and Jackson Williams; in-laws, Jacquelyn Hurley (Leroy), Eloise M. Dulin, Lillian Mahoney, Marie Chance and Franklin Dulin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Kennedyville United Methodist Church, Kennedyville, Md., where funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. Burial will follow reception in Chester Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to Kennedyville U.M. Church, PO Box 32, Kennedyville, MD. 21645.
