Kimberly D. Edge, 47 FEDERALSBURG, Md. - Kimberly D. Edge, 47, of Federalsburg, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009. She was born in Cambridge, on April 29, 1962, and was a daughter of William B. Edge and the late Dorothy Airey Edge. Kim attended schools in Dorchester County. She attended and graduated from Delmarva Beauty Academy and worked with her mother at Tito's House of Beauty in Cambridge. Kim was a loving mother and will be sorely missed by all. She had attended Wesley United Methodist Church in Finchville. She is survived by a daughter, Toni DeGroat and husband Patrick of Seaford; a son, Ryan Schulke of Federalsburg; her father, William B. Edge of Federalsburg; a sister, Debra Brannock and husband Thomas of Church Creek; a step grandmother, Agnes Cheesman Edge of Cambridge; nephews, Brian Burton of East New Market, Derek Edge of Cambridge, Darren Edge of South Carolina; a niece, Rebecca Brannock of Church Creek; a sister-in-law, Kim Tall Edge of Cambridge; several aunts and cousins; and a very special friend, Robin Edmundson of Cambridge, who is also Ryan's Godmother. Besides her mother, Kim was preceded in death by a paternal grandmother, Hazel Baker Edge; maternal grandmother, Mattie Airey; two brothers, William Alvin Edge and Steven K. Edge; and an aunt, Delores Edge Short. A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 13, at the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Ruth Tull officiating. Burial will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust Street, Cambridge, MD 21613.
