HARRINGTON - Kenneth W. Dressler, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Silver Lake Center of Dover.
Mr. Dressler was born in Sunbury, Pa., to the late, Lehman and Bertha Dressler.
Mr. Dressler retired from the United States Navy after serving his country for over 20 years. In the Navy, he worked in Photo Intelligence. After retiring from the Navy, he worked for the Federal Government for over 23 years, in the Defense Intelligence Agency, where he once again used his talents as a photo analyst interpreting defense photos. Mr. Dressler enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. He was a history buff, and loved to watch the History Channel on TV. He loved to travel all over the world, until he became too sick to do so. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, and working in his yard. He was a member of the F.R.A, Fleet Reserve Association. Mr. Dressler will be remembered as a quiet reserved man who kept mostly to himself. He enjoyed life, and lived it to its fullest, and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian C. Dressler; children, Sanae Poust, Janis Maison-Pierce, Charles Dressler; stepchildren, Frances Gray, Sharon L. Sullivan; sisters, Evelyn McLaren, Shirley Fisher; 15 grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren.
Services and burial will be private, and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home Inc, Harrington.
