Kenneth R. Jenkins, 68

SELBYVILLE - Kenneth R. Jenkins of Selbyville went to be with his heavenly father on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, in Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md. He was 68.

Kenneth was born in Lewes, son of the late Edgar and Bessie Jenkins.

He was a truck driver for most of his life.

Kenneth also loved to bowl and bowled on many leagues in the area over the years.

He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Patricia A. Jenkins; his daughter, Kendra Baldwin and her husband Chuck and their son Logan; two sons, Robert and Paul Jenkins; daughter, Bernice Carey; brother, Edgar Jenkins Jr.; sister, Christine Chandler; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many loving in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be noon Thursday in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford, where friends may call after 11 a.m.

Burial will be in Dagsboro Redmens Memorial Cemetery.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to American Cancer Society, Sussex County Unit, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21805.
