DOVER, Del. - Kenneth "Ken" Decker passed away suddenly on January 29, 2022, while camping in Florence, S.C. with his beloved wife of 51 years, Annamay Latocha Decker.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Kathleen Decker; and two brothers, Robert Decker, Jr. and Terry Decker.
In addition to his wife; he is survived by his son, Kenneth Decker and wife Candace; and daughter, Amanda Belford and son-in-law Steve Belford. His five pride and joy grandchildren, Morgan Belford, Cameron Decker, Austin Belford, Lukas Decker and Owen Decker.
Ken was a proud Navy veteran and retired from DelDOT with 34 years of service to the State of Delaware. He had many passions about life including NHL (Philadelphia Flyers), camping, sport cars, bowling, animals, and supporting all of his grandkids school and sporting activities and his precious dog Maggie. He will be remembered most of all for his sense of humor that found its way into the lives of anyone he met.
A celebration of Ken's life will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Evergreen Farms, 2826 Seven Hickories Road, Dover, Del. from 1–5 p.m. (a short service at 4 p.m.).
