Kenneth A. Roberts

DOVER - Kenneth A. Roberts died Oct. 16, 2018. Born in Shamokin, Pa. he was the son of the late Frank and Bertha Harms Roberts.
Mr. Roberts had served in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. He later served in the Civil Service at DAF Base where he worked as a Calibration Technician for 37 years. He was a longtime member of the Walter L. Fox Post # 2 where he served as Past Commander and was also an active member of the BPO Elks Lodge of Dover. In his quiet times he enjoyed woodworking and sports. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Barbara P. Roberts, who died in May of this year. Mr. Roberts leaves his two sons and their spouses, Michael K. and wife Barbara Roberts of Magnolia and Glenn E. and wife Cynthia Roberts of Spring City, Pa. He is also survived by his sister, Arlene Machamer of Mechanicsburg, Pa., seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Services on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover where Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery located in Millsboro.
