Kathryn A. LeCates, 94

FRANFORD - Kathryn A. LeCates, of Frankford, passed away Sunday Jan. 25, 2009, in the Life Care at Lofland Park Nursing Home in Seaford. She was 94. Kathryn was born in Dagsboro, daughter to the late Rufus and Linda (Long) Adkins. She is survived by two sons, Rodney H. LeCates and Robert W. LeCates; a daughter, Alma Young; a sister, Ida Leggs; eight grandchildren, Joyce Langley, Frank Reed, Elton Reed, David LeCates, Michael LeCates, Kathy Young, Chris Evans, William Evans; six great-grandchildren, Edward Langley, Ashley N. LeCates, Cassandra LeCates, Ashley L. Young, Jacob LeCates, Charlotte E. Evans. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher Street in Frankford, where friends may call after noon. Burial will be in Dagsboro Redmens Memorial Cemetery.
