Kathleen V. Daniels Lowe

MILFORD - Kathleen "Kitty" V. Daniels Lowe, who was the fifth generation matriarch of a very active and close-knit family, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Genesis Milford Center in Milford.
She was the daughter of the late Charles and Ola (Noble) Massey of Lewes, where she lived most of her life. For several years she also lived in both West Palm Beach, Fla. and Cambridge, Md.
She was a member of the Pilgrim Wesleyan Church (now called Water's Edge) in Milford. She was a very active member. Kathleen was in the Red Hat Society, a Girl Scout leader, and she enjoyed the various activities at Genesis Milford Center. She was involved with Double D Auctions with her son. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend. She was loved and will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Along with her parents, Kathleen is preceded in death by her brother, Earl; two sisters, Gladys and Edith; her granddaughter, Michelle; her first husband, Archie Daniels; and her second husband, Isaac 'Ikey' Lowe.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna McCormick of Milford, Darlene Hockman of Georgetown, Phyllis Costello (husband Bill) of Millsboro; her son, Dennis (wife Dianne) of Millsboro; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Myra Daniels of Mich.; the rest of her Michigan family; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jun. 2, 2017, at Water's Edge (formerly Pilgrim Wesleyan Church), 805 SE Front Street, Milford, DE 19963. A time of visitation will be held in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, on Thursday, Jun. 1, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment will be private. Although the family is accepting flowers, the family kindly requests that friends and family consider making contributions to Water's Edge in Kathleen's honor.
