RIDGELY, Md. - Kathleen Lucinda Chouinard of Ridgely died Saturday, July 21, 2007, in Memorial Hospital of Easton. She was 75.
Mrs. Chouinard was born May 31, 1932, in Bronx, N.Y., to the late James and Jemima Thomplinson McMullen.
She was a 1950 graduate of Northport High School.
Mrs. Chouinard married her husband, Arthur F. Chouinard, II on Sept. 21 1952, he preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 2002.
She was a homemaker and horticulturist, helping her husband with the family nursery business.
Mrs. Chouinard was a member of the Southold Presbyterian Church, Southold, N.Y.
She moved to the Eastern Shore with her husband in 1988.
Mrs. Chouinard loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially watching them playing local organized sports and board games.
She enjoyed bird watching and all that nature has to offer and doing crafts.
In addition to her husband, Arthur, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jessie Shadbolt.
Mrs. Chouinard is survived by three sons, Arthur F. Chouinard III and Kenneth Chouinard, both of Ridgely, Keith Chouinard of East Windsor, N.J.; two daughters, Eileen Warnken of Onancock, Va., and Jeanette Meyer of Cutchogue, N.Y.; two brothers, Andrew McMullen of Mira Loma, Calif., and William McMullen of Largo, Fla.; three sisters, Anne Guido and Lillian Mosher, both of Northport, N.Y., Margaret Cummings of Fredericksburg, Va.; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Ridgely Church of the Brethren, corner of Park Ave. and Second St. Ridgely.
Visitation will be held at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, P.A from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday.
Burial will be in Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro.
