FELTON - Karen Reichelt Lloyd slipped peacefully into the arms of her Savior Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014 in Kent General Hospital surrounded by the love of her family. Karen was born on Dec. 28, 1951 in Dover, daughter of the late Robert and Shirley (Price) Reichelt, Sr. She was a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School, Class of 1970 and had worked as the executive director of the Milford Senior Center. Karen is survived by her loving husband, of 42 years Francis Lloyd; a daughter, Kimberly Swanstrom and her husband, Nathan of Magnolia; a sister, Kathryn Porterfield of Milford; a grandson, Reis Lloyd Swanstrom; a sister-in-law, Rose Reichelt of Lincoln; brother-in-law, Robert Lloyd of Atlanta, Ga.; a niece, Kara Reichelt of Milton; and a nephew, Robert Reichelt III of Wilmington; and her extended church family and friends. A visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Service will be 12 noon Wednesday, at Grace Presbyterian Church, 350 McKee Rd., Dover. Burial will follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Grace Presbyterian Church, 350 McKee Road, Dover, DE 19904. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
