CATONSVILLE, Md. - Kareen H. Ransom of Catonsville died Saturday, March 10, 2007, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 28.

Mr. Ransom was born in Chestertown, son of William James Ransom Jr. of Catonsville and Denise H. Jones of Chestertown.

He worked construction, loved basketball, music, running and playing Nintendo games.

Mr. Ransom is survived by his wife, Lakeisha Ransom of Salisbury; a daughter, Kei'Shyea Ransom of Barclay; eight brothers, Kareen Ransom Jr. of Barclay, Ke'Andre Ransom and Noah Ransom, both of Greensboro, Darris Jones of Chestertown, William Ransom III of Towson, Kenyatta Ransom of Georgia, Theodore Ransom of New York, Jose Rodriguez of Chestertown; and two sisters, Shakeina Jones and Tykeya Jones, both of Chestertown; His paternal grandmother, Catherine Ransom of Golts; and his stepmother, Lisa Gsell Ransom of Catonsville.

Funeral services will be noon Tuesday in Fellows Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 370 W. Cypress St., Millington, where friends may call two hours earlier.

Burial will be in Wesley Henry Cemetery, Golts.
