Julian J. Kusel, 99 LEWES - Julian J. Kusel, age 99, of Lewes, passed away on March 13, 2010. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of the late Ludwig and Alice Songen Kuselelewicz. His wife, Julia Doviak Kusel; a brother, Tony, and sisters, Victoria, Mary, and Violet, also predecease him. He is survived by his son, Julian P. Kusel and wife Kathleen; and daughter, Constance M. Paller; and two sisters, Stella Carlson, and Irene Smakula; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Julian retired in 1971 after 38 years of service as a technician for Western Electric. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Telephone Pioneers of America. He never missed anyone's birthday, or anniversary, and was a very generous man. He was an active communicator.
