Joshua Dwight Mast, 19

HARRINGTON - Joshua Dwight Mast of Harrington died Monday, June 25, 2007, in Nassawadox, Va., from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 19.

Joshua was born in Dover, son of Karen and Michael Mast of Felton.

He was a grader and excavator for the Chuck Casper Grading and Excavation Co.

In his spare time, Joshua loved to hunt and fish. Growing up, he enjoyed traveling with his father on long haul trips, and got to see much of the country. He also enjoyed riding his four wheeler, and spending time with his Uncle Dave watching rodeo videos.

Joshua was a movie buff. He liked going to the movies and watching them on video. He had a good memory and could quote numerous lines and scenes from countless movies. He loved to be around children and had a way and patience with kids and loved to entertain them.

Recently, Joshua got into the sport of golfing. He loved to hit a bucket of balls and golf in general. He was so determined to play that he tracked down his brother"s left-handed clubs and reclaimed them for himself. He really enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He will be remembered as a loving son and brother that any parent would be proud to call their own.

He is survived by his parents, Karen and Michael Mast of Felton; and a brother, Aaron Mast of Felton.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Highway, Harrington, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Joshua D. Mast Memorial Fund, c/o Cheryl Manship, 120 Main Street, P.O. Box 266, Felton Bank, Felton, DE 19943.
