SMYRNA - Joseph Michael Riff passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017.
Mr. Riff was born on Dec. 18, 1967 in Philadelphia, Pa., the son of Patricia Ann Riff and the late Joseph Francis Riff, Jr.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Alegria Marcello Teufert.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 26 years and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant.
Joseph enjoyed music as his medication and was a loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Deborah Riff; his sister, Tracy Gill and her husband Michael; his nieces, Alexandra Mocharnuk and Isabella Gill; four nephews, David Boswell, DaShaun Boswell, Terrell Boswell and Michael Joseph Gill; his sister and brother-in law, Rosalee and Joseph Boswell; his father-in-law, Larry Teufert; and extended family members.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 South Main Street in Smyrna. Memorial services with military honors will begin at 1 p.m.
Burial will be held at a later date.
