MILLSBORO - John T. Cantwell, of Millsboro, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2011. He was 52. Mr. Cantwell was born on July 7, 1958, in Easton, Md., to the late John W. and Marjorie N. Brooks Cantwell. John was a warehouse manager for Mediacom before retiring due to health reasons. He was a former member of the Milford Jaycees, and the Carlisle Vol. Fire Co. He loved camping and traveling, especially cruises. He loved holidays and decorating for them. He looked forward to Halloween at Trap Pond and was a camp host until his illness prevented him. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Deborah Cantwell; step-children, Ted Snyder, III and his wife Theresa and Tara Snyder and her fiancé Eric Magee, Jr, all of Millsboro; brother, Tim Cantwell of Milford; nieces, Courtney Betts and Barbie Wilson; nephew, Richard Betts; and a grandson, Hunter Snyder. A Funeral Service will be 7 p.m., June 10, 2011, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington Street, where friends may call after 5 p.m. Pastor Rob Welch will officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or the National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
