John Robert Smith, 64
MILFORD - John Robert Smith of Milford died Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, in Georgetown. He was 64.
Mr. Smith was born Aug. 19, 1943, to the late Ernest E. Smith and Margie (Gootee) Smith of Milford.
He was a truck driver.
Mr. Smith was a former member of the South Bowers Volunteer Fire Co.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy (Lufsey) Smtih; and his son, Kevin Smith, in August 1987.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by four sisters, Nancy Webb of Ellendale, Louise Hastings and her husband Harvey, Priscilla Rogers and her husband Danny of Lincoln, and Carol Ann Wilkins and Joel Blessing of Milford; his grandsons; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and his companion, Shirley Blackburn.
Services and burial will be private.
