CAMDEN - John J. Foraker passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021. John was born on September 30, 1966 to the late Marlene and Eugene Foraker.
John was raised in the Felton area and started his working career at a young age. He was very talented as both a handyman and mechanic. He could always be found working on anything mechanical: cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats and anything else he could get his hands on. When he was not working, he could be found open water fishing, or supporting his favorite team, The Steelers.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
John is survived by daughters, Crystal Foraker and Danielle Johnson of Newark and Nicole (Joshua) Pearson of Dover; siblings, Benalee (Rick) Murphy of Dover, Richard Slater of Pot-Nets along with his eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt. 10), Dover, DE. Friends may call 1 hour prior.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904 to help defray funeral expenses.
Letters of condolence may be sent and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com
