SEAFORD - John Frederick Potter Sr. died Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Life Care in Lofland Park. Born in Binghamton, NY, he was the son of the late Helen Dise and Paul Frederick Potter. John was a machine operator at the DuPont plant in Seaford before he retired. He served in the Army Reserves and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Seaford Elks, Sons of the American Legion and AMVETS. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Satchell Potter; two sons, John F. Potter Jr. and James H. Potter, both of Salisbury; step-daughter, Amy Flores of Easton; a step-brother, William Ritter of Cape May, NJ; two step-grandchildred and three step-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Jumper. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the Seaford Moose Lodge, 22759 Bridgeville Hwy., Seaford. Arrangements are in the care of Watson-Yates Funeral Home.
