Jess William Windsor, 43 FELTON - Jess William Windsor, of Felton, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at University of Pennsylvania Hospital. He was 43. He was born May 4, 1966, at the Lockbourne Air Base in Ohio to William and JoAnn Windsor. Jess served in the United States Air Force Reserves for 25 years earning the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He was the Chief Loadmaster Superintendent assigned to the 326th Airlift Squadron at Dover Air Force Base. Jess loved to fly, accumulating over 6,700 hours of flight time serving as a loadmaster on both the C-5 and C-17 airplanes. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #3 in Harrington. He is survived by his parents, William and JoAnn Windsor of Hartly; his wife, Peggy Ann (Altman) Windsor of Felton; five daughters, Lauren Willshire of Dover, Breannon Windsor of Felton, Samantha Windsor of Eatonville, Wash., Krystal Altman of Dover, and Kaitlyn Altman of Felton; two brothers, Jay Windsor and his wife Sharon of Felton, and Scott Windsor and his wife Vicki of Dover; and three nephews, Jonathan Grioli, Zachary and Joshua Windsor. Funeral services will be 5 p.m., Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. A viewing will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
