Jerry Ray Newcomb(Captain Kid)
Born on April 19, 1964, in Lewes, Delaware to Harold and Ethel Newcomb he graduated from Greenville, PA in 1983. He worked for Delaware Bay Launch and with Captain Jim White at Coastal Launch.
He was preceded in death by Harold Newcomb.
He leaves behind his mom, Ethel Newcomb; children, Naomi (Tim) DeGroat and Rachel (Peter) Reinsfelder; siblings, Jay (Christy) Newcomb, Jenny (Zach) Dittmar; granddaughter, Emily; and niece and nephews Charlotte, Kaden and Cole.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd (Rt 10), Dover. Friends may visit from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. on Monday evening and again from 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at Torbert Funeral Chapel South.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations made out to Torbert Funeral Chapels, 61 S Bradford St Dover, DE 19904 to help defray funeral costs.
