CLAYTON - Jerriann D. Haviland of Clayton died peacefully Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, in her home. She was 49.
Mrs. Haviland was born Nov. 19, 1957, in Cortland, N.Y., daughter of Jerry Avery of New York and the late Gwendolyn Price Avery.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Nationwide Nickle Insurance Co. in Delaware City.
Mrs. Haviland enjoyed taking care of her pets.
She is survived by her husband, Morris J. Haviland III; her father, Jerry Avery of New York; five brothers, Edwin Avery of Virgil, N.Y., Keith Avery of Homer, N.Y., Paul Avery of Preble, N.Y., Patrick Avery of Hudson, N.Y., and Shawn Avery of Louisville, Ky.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. today in Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna.
Burial will be private.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Kent County SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
Arrangements are by Faries Funeral Directors, Inc., 29 S. Main St., Smyrna.
