Jeffrey C. Higgins, 40
Jeffrey C. Higgins of Lewes died Friday, May 4, 2007, in Mississippi, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on April 27. He was 40.
Jeff was born Aug. 31, 1966, in New Jersey, son of Alice Gruver and John Higgins Sr.
He was a self-employed contractor.
Jeff loved climbing trees, working outside and fishing.
He was a member of Midway Assembly of God Church, Lewes.
Jeff will be greatly missed.
He is survived by three loving daughters, Cassandra Lynn Higgins, Hayley Higgins and Taylor Higgins, all of Dover; a loving brother, John R. Higgins of Delaware; two sisters, Sue Lynn Higgins and Janette Renee Higgins, both of Delaware; his mother and stepfather, Alice Carol and Richard Gruver; his father, John R. Higgins of Pennsylvania; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Midway Assembly of God Church, Lewes, where friends and family are welcome to celebrate his life.
