MILFORD - Jeanette Gray passed away Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017 at Genesis Health Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Milford. Jeanette was born in Milton to parents, Clarence and Margaret (Bailey) Moore on May 26, 1930. She was a 1948 graduate of Milton High School, grades 1 – 12.
Jeanette was employed by Playtex for several years and later acquired a position at State of Delaware Department of Corporations for 27 years and retired early, due to husband, Ralph A. Gray, illness. They were a great couple without children. She is survived by sisters-in-law, Shirley Messick and Janice Moore; nieces, Tanya Moore, Phyllis Sherman, Janet Calloway and Brenda Hudson; nephews, William Harper Walker, Richard Moore, Dean Moore, Timothy Moore, Robert Walker and numerous others from Texas.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017 at 12 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, 6062 Old Shawnee Road, Milford, where friends and family may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
