GEORGETOWN - Jean Passwaters of Georgetown passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Harrison Senior Living in Georgetown. She was 78. Jean was born in Providence R.I., the daughter of the late James and Phyllis (Lamphear) Frey. She was a pharmacy tech for Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford for 30 years retiring in 2000. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, bird watching and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Passwaters in 1998; and great granddaughter, Madisson Peterman. She is survived by her children, Phyllis Jerman and husband Harold of Ellendale, James Passwaters and wife Deborah of Georgetown and Norma Shelton and husband Raymond of Lincoln; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12 noon, Thursday, June 7, 2012 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
