FELTON - Jean D. Griffith passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Jean was born on Dec. 22, 1930 in Dover, Del., daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth (Stewart) Defibaugh. She lived a full and productive life, but her greatest accomplishment was her family. Jean will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Milton Griffith; a daughter, Stacey Tatman; and two sisters, Frances Cook and Betty Bush. She is survived by two daughters, Andrea Griffith and fiancé Jack Coker of Felton, Shawn Taylor of Felton; two sons, Milton Griffith and his wife Patricia of Felton and Robert Griffith of Harrington; a sister, Irene Kersey of Viola; grandchildren, Heather Vickery and her husband Phil of S.C., Jodi Thompson and her husband Rob of Tenn., Spence Griffith of Harrington, and Chandler Griffith of Harrington; and two great-granddaughters, Austen Vickery and Ava Vickery of S.C.
