Johnson, 32 FREDERICA - Jason Douglas Johnson passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28th after a fatal car accident. He was born in Dover on March 29, 1981 to Douglas Johnson and Tracy Husfelt, both of Dover. Jason is a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School, class of 1999. He was married to Elissa (Davis) Johnson in 2013 and they have three children, Jadyn Davis (age 9), Ethan Johnson (age 1) and Evan Johnson (age 3 weeks). Jason was best known for his caring, generous, thoughtful personality. He was a gentle, soft spoken man that was incredibly proud of his family. Everyone that knew him, knew he felt family was the most important thing. His life revolved around his wife and children and all he wanted was to provide them with a life filled with family, love and happiness. His time with us was cut short. To say he will be missed is an understatement. Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, CMSGT Walter Leroy Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Elissa; children, Jadyn, Ethan and Evan; his parents, Douglas & Holly Johnson and Tracy Husfelt (all of Dover), his grandmother, Wilhelmine Johnson (Dover); his sisters, Isabella Johnson & Ali Husfelt (both of Dover); his uncles, and aunts, Mike & Debbi Dukes (Hudson, Ohio), Tom & Susie Sacchetta (West Chester, Pa.); many cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
