GREENWOOD - Jarrett J. Alvey, Jr. died in a motorcycle accident outside of Greenwood on August 30, 2012. Jarrett was born November 10, 1984 in La Plata, Md. He was a farmer, working on Amalfi Farms with Mike Malfitano of Greenwood. Jarrett enjoyed hunting, and spending time with his wife and children. He is survived by his wife of seven years, Nicole Stull Alvey; a son, 3-Jay who is six; and a daughter, Lexi who is three; his mother and his step-father, Carolyn and Bill Whaley of Bridgeville; his father and step-mother, Jarrett and Debbie Alvey, Sr. of Preston, Md.; a maternal grandmother, Jane Joseph of Greenwood; a father-in-law, Doug Stull of Greenwood; three sisters, Carol Alvey of Laurel, Diane Alvey of Huntingtown, Md., and Terri Pike of Cumberland, Va.; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Bloomery Cemetery in Federalsburg, Md. Donations may be made to Fleischauer Funeral Home, POB 502, Greenwood, DE. 19950, to help defray the cost of funeral expenses.
