RICHMOND, Va. - Janice Lillian Walker Taylor, of Richmond, Va., formerly of Greensboro, Md., joined her beloved husband Robert H. Taylor on Oct. 22, 2009. She was 83. A wonderful mother and devoted wife, Janice bravely fought multiple sclerosis for many years. Her cheerful attitude gave all those who knew her inspiration and hope. She was born in Newark, N.J., July 18, 1926, and graduated from Virginia Intermont College, Bristol. A lovely lady with a beautiful smile and laugh Janice loved to paint and garden. As a Navy wife she and Bob traveled the world raising their three children. Greensboro, Md., was home after the Navy. She leaves her children and their families Robb, Jeffrey, and Mary Ellen (Mea) Zick; and grandchildren Karen Rodini, Mike Taylor, Jason Zick, a U.S. Marine, Taylor Zick and her great grandchild, Charlie Rodini. Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Greensboro Cemetery.
