DOVER - Janeen Meyers Coffin passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015 at home. Mrs. Coffin was born July 26, 1952 in York, Pa. to the late James H. Meyers and Jane Rojahn Meyers. She graduated from Dallastown High School in 1970 and in 1971 graduated from York Vo-Tech as a LPN. Mrs. Coffin had worked for Fairmont ER as a Medical Surgery Nurse in Fairmont, WVA before moving to Delaware, where she worked at the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill in Smyrna, and then at Kent General Hospital in the Med-Surg unit, CCU, IMC, ICU and Pediatrics. In 1994 she went to work as a homecare nurse, until 2014. She was a member of Praise for all People Church in Greenwood, Del. Mrs. Coffin enjoyed singing and playing the guitar and sang with several ministries. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother, Jeremy Meyers. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, John Robert Coffin, Jr. of Dover; children, John Coffin, III and his wife Jennifer, Amanda Bledsoe and her husband Larry, Jesse Shrader and his wife Laurie, Joshua Coffin, Jason Coffin and his wife Elise, Laurie Coffin and Erin Dean; siblings, Joseph Meyers and his wife June, James Meyers and his wife Kim, John Meyers, Jennifer Taylor and her husband Scott; grandchildren, Mary Adkins, Nathan Coffin, Allison Dean, Ava Shrader, Margaret Coffin, Sofia Shrader, Amelia Coffin and Michael Satterfield. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (RTt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 6-8 Monday evening. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
