Jane 'Sis' Knight, 68
RALEIGH, N.C. - Jane "Sis" Knight of Raleigh died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, in Raleigh. She was 68.
Sis was a native of Bowers Beach, Del.
She was born Oct. 16, 1938, daughter of the late William and Agnes Knight.
Sis was employed as a micro-biologist for the State of Delaware and retired after 30 years.
She was a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School, class of 1957.
In Delaware she was an active member of The Community Singers.
Sis retired to Florida in 1988 and was employed by the Abundant Life Christian Academy.
She moved to North Carolina in 2006.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William "Bill" Knight; and her brother, James "Buddy" Knight.
Sis is survived by her close friend, Marge Bailey and her family of North Carolina; and by cousins, Donald M. Dean, Janice Wagner, Susan Berry, Shirley Biddle and Beverly Dean.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Donations may be made in her name to Abundant Life Christian Centre, 1490 Banks Road, Margate, FL 33063.
