Dover - Jane Ellen Kirk, passed away Monday, Mar. 20, 2017, in Kent General Hospital, Dover.
Jane was born, Sept. 30, 1948, in Troy, Ohio, to Patricia (Jenkins) Maggart and the late, Daniel R. Maggart. She had worked in the medical field for many years, and in her free time she enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family.
Jane is survived by her two children, Jennifer Lyn Lefort and her husband, Robert, of Seminole, Florida and Jason Daniel Gavin, of Dover; her mother, Patricia Ann (Jenkins) Maggart, of Dover; a sister, Denise Sue Bickling, of Dover; a brother, Daniel J. Maggart, of Palm Harbor, Fla.; four grandchildren, Austin Douglas Gavin, of Woodside; Olivia Spencer Gavin, of Seminole, Fla.; Sean Robert Lefort, of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Matthew Vernon Lefort, of Denver, Colo.; a niece, Amy Leigh Bickling, of Morrisville, Pa.; a great-nephew, Aidan Joseph Babus, of Morrisville, Pa.; and her dear and special friends, Susan and Frank Daniels, of Dover.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Mar. 24, 2017, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, Del.; where funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, Mar. 25, 2017. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
