Jane Elizabeth (Lankford) Reed, 96
MILLSBORO - Jane Elizabeth (Lankford) Reed of Millsboro, formerly of Seaford, died Saturday, March 17, 2007, in her home. She was 96.
Mrs. Reed was born in Seaford, daughter of the late Ada Van Short and Fred E. Lankford.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Reed loved animals, enjoyed gardening and was an avid swimmer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Morrison Reed; two brothers, Alton C. Lankford and Ronald V. Lankford; and two sisters, Madeline A. Everett and Geraldine L. Raneri.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front and King streets, Seaford, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Delaware SPCA, 326 S. DuPont Highway, Georgetown, DE 19947.
