MILLINGTON, Md. - James Robert "Bobby" Flowers also known as "Guitar Man" of Millington, Md., died on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 at his home. He was 60. Born on March 24, 1953 in New Jersey, he was the son of the late Morgan Flowers, Sr. and Ivanette Holeger. Mr. Flowers attended Bohemia Manor High School. In 1990, he married Shirley Flowers. He worked several jobs, most recently for Gillespie as a foreman of the Precast yard. Mr. Flowers loved playing guitar, drinking beer and singing. In addition to his wife, Shirley, he is survived by a step-son, Brian K. Lapkiewicz of Earleville, Md.; three sisters, Lola Rebecca Hollinger of Rehoboth, Del, Barbara Jean Czerny of Sykesville, Md., and Delores Lockwood of Warwick, Md.; two brothers, Morgan Flowers of Millington, Md. and John W. Flowers of Millington, Md.; one grandson, Brian K. Lapkiewicz, Jr. of Elkton, Md. and a niece, Sharon Sewell of Lincoln, Del. Funeral services will be held privately.
