GREENSBORO, Md. - James "Eel" Randolph Clark of Greensboro, Md., died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, in Christiana Medical Center, Newark. He was 47.
He was born July 2, 1959, in Queen Anne, Md., to Charles Brittingham of Dover and the late Gussie Mae Clark Wheeler.
James, known as "Eel" to his family and dear friends, was educated in the Caroline County public school system.
He worked for the Greensboro Supply Co.
In his free time he enjoyed playing basketball, horseshoes, and shooting pool.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his godson, Samuel Johnson V; one goddaughter, Shanay Clark; three brothers, Anthony Copper, Darnell Cooper, and Michael Wilson; one stepbrother, Sonny Wheeler; seven sisters, Shonta Copper, Denise Copper, Yvette Copper, Azalie Wise, Polly Mason, Shirley Wilson, and Angelina Thomas; seven uncles, three aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Monday in Allen A.M.E. Church, Hillsboro, Md., where friends may call one hour prior to service.
Interment will be in Sandtown Cemetery, Hillsboro, Md.
