GREENWOOD - James Philip "Jamie" Kish, age 21, of Greenwood, was taken from his family too soon on Monday, July 18, 2011. James was a 2007 graduate of Milford High School. He was a member of the FFA Parliamentary Procedures team. Jamie played football at Milford High School and Albright College. He had previously worked at KSI. He loved hanging out with his friends and fireworks. He also loved to challenge people, was always a friend even to the lowliest sole out there. Jamie wore pink mohawk's in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, two years in a row. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Lorene Kish. He is survived by his parents, James R., and R. Michele (Staley) Kish; a brother, Brady Kish; maternal grandparents, Phil and Tommye Staley; aunts, Georgiana Staley and Deborah Shelton; uncle, Robert Kish; numerous cousins, extended family members and friends; his longtime girlfriend, Cindy Besley; and his yellow lab, Dakota. A funeral service will be 1 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2011, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, with visitation after 11 a.m. Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.
