Ellendale - James Oliver Santiago-King passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 18, 1960, in Milford, to Orlando Santiago and the late Shirley Kay King.
James shared his love of fishing, crabbing, and working on cars with his family. He enjoyed going to auction, remodeling homes, watching home improvement shows and W.W.E., listening to music, dancing, and eating Puerto Rican food. Most of all, James loved spending time with his family and friends
He is survived by his father, Orlando Santiago; his daughter, Kasey K. Christopher and son-in-law, Adrion; son, James O. Santiago; his four sisters, Celia (Tom) Santiago King, Leticia (Carol) Santiago King, Celines Santiago King, and Shirley Santiago King; and one brother, Orlando Santiago King; grandchildren, Ethan, Sofia, and Kaydin; Krissy, who he loved like a daughter; as well as a host of extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE 19963, where friends will call after 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
