MAGNOLIA - James Joseph Fiore, Sr. passed away, Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018 at Kent General hospital.
Mr. Fiore was born May 6, 1943 in Jersey City, N.J. to Joseph V. Fiore and Francesca Forte Fiore.
He served in the United States Army from 1963 until 1966. Mr. Fiore worked as a Chief Operating Officer for Northern Diagnostic Laboratories for 32 years retiring in 2009.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a niece, Sarah Frances Corbett; and sister, Beatrice Frances Stiff.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gloria Mester Fiore of Magnolia; sons, James Joseph Fiore, Jr. (Rachel) of Jacksonville, Fla. and Christian David Fiore (Dawn) of Magnolia; sisters, Betty Anne Corbett (James), Angela Priola and Francine Fiore; grandchildren, Paige Nicole, Jacob Matthew, Gianna Marie and Joseph Vincenzo Fiore.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way #205, New Castle, DE 19720.
