James G. 'Jim' Reefe, 73

FELTON - James G. "Jim" Reefe, of Felton, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 73.

Mr. Reefe was born Oct. 22, 1934, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Harry and Hilda (Hirsch) Reefe.

He had most recently worked as a salesman for Wanamaker's in Wilmington.

Mr. Reefe was an avid reader and his hobbies included fishing and being in the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, M. Sue (Cooper) Reefe.

He is survived by two daughters, Terry Brown and her husband Donald of Clayton, and Julie Carter and her husband Allen of Kansas City, Kan.; a son, Jim Reef and his wife Anne of Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Gordon Reefe and his wife Maureen of Crofton, Md.; and three grandchildren, Nathan Carter and Jennifer and James Reefe.

Services and burial will be private.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a charity of the donor's choice.

Arrangements are by Faries Funeral Directors and Crematorium Inc., 29 S. Main St., Smyrna.
