James Davis, Jr.
MILFORD - James Davis, Jr., was born September 2, 1935, in Mobile, Alabama. He departed this life on March 17, 2021, at his home in Milford, Delaware.
James attended church services at Faith, Hope & Love Christian Fellowship in Milford Del., under the leadership of Bishop Ralph R. Harmon.
James enjoyed barbeques in the backyard with family and friends. He also enjoyed playing card games such as, Pinochle and Spades and playing Dominos.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Davis, Sr. and Willie Mae Nelson, of Mobile, Ala.; and two sisters, Shermanita Knight and Carrie Nelson of Mobile, Ala.
James leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and caring wife of 45 years, Sadie Mae Weaver Davis; brother, Malcom Nelson; a host of children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; three devoted daughters, Sharon, Eunette and Elaine; three devoted grandsons, Kyheen, Jeffery and Auterian; and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorial Service will be held at Faith, Hope and Love Christian Fellowship, 218 N. Rehoboth Blvd., Milford, DE 19963.
