James D. 'Jim' O'Neal, 67

HARTLY - James D. "Jim" O'Neal, 67, of Hartly, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover, with his family by his side. He was born on March 26, 1942, in Middletown, to the late J. Irving and Frances Conner O'Neal. Jim was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He worked at Camdel Metals as a machinist. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, John Berry; and sister, Suzanne Berry Coulston. He is survived by wife, Judith Ann O'Neal of Hartly; sons, David O'Neal of Woodside, Patrick O'Neal of Hartly, and Michael O'Neal of Hartly; twin daughters, Lorrie Gregory of Delmar, and Peggy and her husband Jeff Benvenuti of Hartly; sister and her husband, Nancy and Jack Papen of Dover; grandchildren, Matthew, Michelle, Bethany, Jillian, Rebecca, Zachery, Shawna, and Steve; and special niece and her husband, Tracy and Chris Boyer. Memorial Services will be 7 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
