James "Jim" Carr, 62
FOLCROFT, Pa. - James "Jim" Carr of Folcroft passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2007, in Chester Crozer Medical Center, surrounded by his family after a long battle with leukemia. He was 62.
Mr. Carr worked for 47 years as a sign man and was a longtime employee of Sign-A-Rama, Folcroft.
He was a devoted family man and to his fellow employees. He was the number-one Super Bowl fan and partier.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Hulse.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angelina "Gizzi" Carr; daughters, Kimberly and John Glover of Taneytown, Md., Michelle and Bruce Daughtery of Hamstead, Md., Christina and Joseph Witzler of Westminster, Md., Alicia Shirk and son, James S. Carr of Folcroft; grandchildren, Cassandra, Elisabeth, J.P., Joshua, Amanda, Mackensie, Mason, Jeremy, Joe Joe, Christopher, Caitlyn and Brandon; a great-grandson, Joseph Shirk Jr.; His brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Sis, Francis and Dee and David; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gert and Pete, Florence and Mike, Rose and Rick and Catherine; Sisters-in-law, Victoria Lowry, Theresa Clarkson, Mary and Mike Gaither; brothers-in-law and wives, Vincent and Margie Gizzi, Harry and Ann Gizzi; close cousin Terri Warrington and family, Rick Torres Sr. and Frances Aviles, all of Wyoming, Del.; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in the Church of St. George, 22 E. Cooke Ave., Glenolden, Pa., 19036.
