LINCOLN - James C. Hallman, Jr. passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018. Mr. Hallman was born in Milford to the late James C. and Dorothy (Hall) Hallman Sr. He worked in Grocery Management and enjoyed hunting in his younger days. He was also a gun, knife, and car enthusiast. James also developed an interest in ancestry and astronomy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Chaney. He is survived by his wife, Judy (Ennis) Hallman; brother, Linwood Hallman; children, Janine and Steve Willey and James 'Clint' and Jen Hallman, III; grandchildren, Matthew Willey and his fiancé Kelly Webb, Miranda Willey, Cole, Caleb, and Cameron Hallman; great-granddaughters, Julianna and Makayla Willey; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE 19963, where friends may call after 12 p.m. Burial services will be private.
