A beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece and friend, Jaime Renee Coleman-Stevens gained her heavenly wings while surrounded by family on Jan. 25, 2019. Born on Dec. 16, 1977 to James "J.D." and Sharon Coleman of Hartly, she graduated from Dover High School in 1995 and earned her Associate of Science and Bachelor of Arts in graphic design at Wilmington University.
On Halloween 2008, she wore ruby slippers to wed her Mad Hatter, Carl Stevens. Carl and Jaime shared a love of art, music, film and more, along with their beloved pets-Honey, Napoleon, Copper, Jasper, Kit, Poe and Orion.
Jaime was a kind and thoughtful friend to all. She loved talking with those she loved and was always there when you needed someone to listen. Jaime loved animals and worked to help those without a home. Jaime was very creative and put so much thought into the gifts that all her family and friends will cherish in her memory. Most of all, she loved being with those she loved and making them feel special. Jaime truly had a beautiful soul that she imprinted on all of the people who loved her.
