MILFORD - Irma E. McPherson, of Milford, died Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Courtland Manor, Dover. She was born April 21, 1925, in St. Paul Minnesota, daughter of Andrew and Johanna Michelson and graduated from Ottawa High School. She later lived in Marseilles, Ill., where she married John H. McPherson in 1943. Her husband John, preceded her in death in 1992. The McPherson's moved to Delaware in 1946, and purchased Walter's Dry Cleaning Business in Milford. Mrs. McPherson worked at Milford Trust Company, in Milford for 20 years. She was a very active member of the Avenue United Methodist Church. She is survived by three children, Jerry and his wife Karen, Janet McPherson, and Jack and his wife Patti; seven grandchildren; and four great-grand children. Services and burial will be private.
